What is a Wire Wrapped Rosary?
Wire wrapping is a technique that is used to create the finest rosaries available. Each Bead is individually wrapped and looped, permanently connecting it to the previous bead. This technique is much different than that employed by most rosary manufacturers. Images of the wire-wrapped loops and details can be found below. Creating a wire wrapped rosary can take up to eight hours. The rosary that results from this labor of love is totally unique and almost indestructible. Most mass produced rosaries will fall apart after only a short time due to poor construction. A wire wrapped rosary is of unsurpassed heirloom quality. Each loop and wrap is hand crafted and unique. These rosaries and devotional chaplets are truly pieces of art.
What Products are Available?
Standard five decade rosaries as well as several devotional chaplets are available. Five decade rosaries are priced starting at $50.00 plus tax and shipping. Rosary bracelets, devotional chaplets, and devotional medals are also available. All products are priced modestly and are crafted using high quality materials.
What Materials are Used?
All metal pieces are crafted using an oxidized base metal nickel alloy. All medal pieces are lead free. Sterling silver is not used in our standard products because it costs 10-25 times more than base medals. Beads are made of a wide range of materials including crystal, glass, wood and resin.
Who is Selling These Rosaries?
My name is Bryan and I'm the father of two daughters. It is my goal to offer fine wire wrapped rosaries in order to allow my wife and I to send our daughters to local catholic schools. We hope to be able to cover a portion of our costs with the proceeds from selling rosaries. Crafting rosaries is done in my spare time a few hours per week.
